• Keep left. Don’t just push your trolley aimlessly down the aisle as you will invariably get in the way. In Australia we drive on the left hand side of the road, this should also apply to pushing of shopping trolleys in supermarkets.
  • Don’t try and pass someone going the opposite direction on their left. As they will be keeping left you will just be getting in the way. It is especially rude to force your way between a trolley and the shelves just pass on the other side.
